We are working hard to bring to our experience and philosophy to school. We will soon open pre-K and elementary programs.

TOROIDE LATIN SCHOOL offers an innovative curriculum focused on the development and mastery of skills and abilities related to the types of competencies that form the basis of our unique approach: knowing how to think to know how to do and knowing how to be to know how to coexist.

In an intuitive, fun, and stimulating way, the Pre-K program at Toroide Latin School is designed to enhance your children’s abilities according to their chronological and emotional ages, as well as their motor skills. This program is part of the Toroide Elementary Latin School curriculum, so its didactic-pedagogical support enables children to develop skills and competencies needed to efficiently and easily face the challenges of basic education.

Didactically, we develop activities related to your children’s fine and gross motor skills, which are crucial at these ages for body control and the development of attention and memory mechanisms involved in learning. Therefore, we include concentration, language, and emotional expression activities through stories, songs, puppets, music, arts, games, sports, literature and body expression.

Similarly, we emphasize learning about nature in line with Toroide’s pedagogical values, using observation and verbal recording methods to develop the foundations of logical thinking from an ethical, empathetic and rational perspective.

This program does not include learning process evaluations or knowledge assessments but aims to introduce children to solving simple problems that involve the deployment of their sensorimotor and affective skills as part of developing competences related to knowledge and responsible commitment as a human being in our world.

The Toroide Latin School Elementary Education Program utilizes a cutting-edge curriculum that incorporates recent developments in neuroscience and cognitive psychology regarding how the brain learns through its sensorimotor and affective components. This curriculum is designed for children to develop their cognitive potential holistically, allowing for periodic qualitative evaluations through the completion of partial and final projects across subjects.

To achieve this interrelationship, our curriculum is organized into three learning modules (Discernment, Creativity, and Coexistence), each divided into three training cycles (Sensorimotor Cycle or Cycle I, Concrete Pre-operational Cycle or Cycle II, and Abstract Pre-operational Cycle or Cycle III).

We organize the curriculum into training and learning cycles based on your children’s abilities and the competencies to be developed according to our innovative study plan. This allows your child to consolidate knowledge, skills, and abilities continuously, making a significant difference not only in how they learn but also in their self-confidence and self-concept as individuals.

Our curriculum organization by cycles ensures that your child has the knowledge required by the Florida State Department of Education, but also allows them to get knowledge from a higher cycle if their abilities and skills demand it.
